Bury hydrants have a 1-piece variable flow plunger, large cushion type seal not easily damaged. Positive shut-off even when foreign particles are present. Automatic drain feature. Plunger opens drain to prevent freezing, closes at any flow to prevent wasting water. Tamperproof lock can be locked in closed position by inserting padlock or bolt thru hole in link.
